SANDBACH STATION FLOWER TUBS UNVEILED
10th June 2008

Sandbach Station has been brightened up with new flower tubs placed at the station.  The flowers, which were funded by the Sandbach Partnership were unveiled on Monday 9th June with help from the Sandbach Brownies.

The second phase of the project, which is funded by Visit Cheshire, Northern Rail, the Crewe-Manchester Community Rail Partnership and Cheshire Crimebeat, will see additional flower tubs on the station platform.

The flower tubs are part of an initiative to improve the appearance of stations along the Crewe-Manchester line and raise the profile of Cheshire Year of Gardens 2008.
