LIVE MUSIC TRAIN TO PLUMLEY : WEDNESDAY 24TH SEPTEMBER
24th September 2008

Multi-instrumentalist folk singer Geoff Higginbottom will be performing on the 18:24 train from Manchester Piccadilly to Plumley on Wednesday 24th September.

The train calls at Stockport (18:34), Navigation Road (18:49), Altrincham (18:51), Hale (18:54), Ashley* (18:57), Mobberley* (19:00) and Knutsford (19:04) before arriving at Plumley (*request stop). The music continues in the Golden Pheasant which is directly opposite the station. The Golden Pheasant is a traditional pub in the heart of rural Cheshire serving fresh, quality food and well-kept J W Lees's real ales.

The return journey, with further music from Geoff Higginbottom, is on the 21:35 departure from Plumley back to Manchester via all the stations listed above.

There's no need to book in advance - just turn up and purchase a regular train ticket.  If joining at Stockport or any other station beyond, you can save 50% off the price of your normal journey by asking for a Cheap Evening Return (this is valid for outward journeys between 18:30 and 21:30).
