Northwich town centre is distinctive with its black and white timber framed buildings. Northwich is home to Britain's only Salt Museum. At the Salt Museum the history of an industry that is unique to Cheshire is brought to life, from Roman times to the present, through a combination of models, audio-visuals and reconstructions. The station building is host to ‘Zone’, an award winning Cyber Café and Community Learning Centre, combining Internet and computer facilities with a premium-quality coffee shop provided by Caffé Arabica.
