Shrewsbury has over 600 listed buildings including the CASTLE and the ABBEY. Relax in beautiful QUARRY PARK or take a boat trip on the River Severn. You will also find a huge variety of things to see and do in the surrounding countryside. A good way to see many of the sights is to take THE SHREWSBURY WALK.

The SHREWSBURY MUSIC HALL is Shropshire's most popular arts centre, playing host to a wide range of performances throughout the year including comedy, dance, live music, theatre, pantomime and family shows. Their website provides you with all the information about what's on and you can also book on-line.

Opposite Shrewsbury Abbey is a visitor centre operated by SHROPSHIRE WILDLIFE TRUST. The attraction is based around a wildlife garden, located in what was the old, ‘Shrewsbury Quest’ building. The Trust is the county's leading environmental charity, currently supported by 8,000 members.

Be sure to visit the SHREWSBURY INTERNATIONAL STREET THEATRE FESTIVAL -a three-day feast of great entertainment on the streets of Shrewsbury held late August / early September.
