Styal is home to the National Trust run Quarry Bank Mill and Styal Estate, which is well worth a visit. This can easily be reached by public transport, by taking bus 200, which runs hourly between Manchester Airport and Wilmslow Station, via Styal.

The 18th century Quarry Bank Garden has recently reopened to visitors following a substantial restoration.

On Monday-Saturday, Styal will has three rail services a day to Manchester, at 07:59, 15:59 and 17:59, and three services a day to Crewe via Wilmslow, at 08:18, 13:18 and 18:18.
